Step into the past with the Trunk Museum!
Discover the fascinating world of the Harappan Civilization through an immersive journey that brings history to life. Created in collaboration with the CSMVS Children’s Museum, Mumbai, and guided by the expertise of Ms. Resham Gudhekar, this travelling exhibition showcases rare artefacts, intricate pottery, and a detailed model of Mohenjo-daro—revealing the craftsmanship, culture, and ingenuity of one of the world’s earliest urban societies.
Museum on Wheels - CSMVS
Bringing the museum to you!
The Museum on Wheels by CSMVS takes history and culture beyond the museum walls and into schools and communities. Travelling since 2015, this mobile museum features themed exhibitions that change every six months, complete with artefacts, interactive displays, and digital media. Through hands-on learning, workshops, and storytelling, it brings India’s rich heritage directly to young minds—making every stop a journey through time.
The customised air-conditioned buses are fully equipped with display cases for objects, demonstration kits, art supplies, audio-visual equipment, and digital interactives. The buses host exhibitions on specific subjects, which change periodically.
